I am moved by others who are willing to share their story in order to heal and rewrite the parts that aren’t working anymore. Good stories are made up of a beginning, middle and end. As most of us find ourselves in the messy middle, it can be overwhelming and disheartening at times to make sense of life and traumatic experiences on our own. Finding the courage to see a counselor, do the hard work of therapy, and share yourself with others is the beauty of this work.

I have spent most of my life in Arizona and found my way to becoming a counselor through personal experience which included using art and creativity as a way to heal and express difficult emotions. I have my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from Prescott College. Along with being a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) I am also a trained and registered Art Therapist (ATR-P), a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate (CSAT-C), and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) working to heal attachment wounds primarily in couples and parent/child relationships. I use all of these approaches to create a unique therapeutic experience for each of my clients.

A little more about me: I love to drink coffee, go to garage sales, make pottery, paint, check out the local art scene with my hubby, and spend time building forts in the living room with my two amazing kids.
