My experiences have led me to a passion for helping others. I was able to heal through difficult personal circumstances by working to turn them into tools of self-empowerment. Through this journey, I’ve discovered purpose. My aim is to not just do something for you but rather be something for you while assisting in your own healing process.

I recently completed school with a M.A. in Counseling with Ottawa University. I have worked in community behavioral health, mainly helping children and adolescents maneuver difficult life challenges. I have had the honor and privilege of seeing many of my clients and their caregivers overcome traumatic situations and build safe and happy environments.

When I’m not working, I am busy with my handsome husband and our five teenagers. We just had three of the five graduate high school, big changes at our house. Our family has experienced many things including blending families, divorce, adoption, ADHD, PTSD, just to name a few. Some of my favorite things are the beach, hiking, running, going to the movies, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family.

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose of deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.” Brene Brown
