It takes a lot of courage to see a counselor and I honor the courage it takes to walk in the door, whether in crisis or in needing maintenance. It’s a joy to work with such amazing people who are willing to face the difficult things happening in their lives. Witnessing the healing and growth that people achieve is inspiring to me.

To know a little bit about my experience, I have been practicing for three and a half years as a therapist and over 7 years in the mental health field. I received my Bachelors from BYU-Idaho and my Masters degree from Arizona State University. My therapeutic approach is to meet the individual where they are at and use an integrative approach to assist the client in achieving their therapeutic goals. I am most well known for my work in Band of Brothers (sexual compulsivity group for teenage boys), and providing experiential trauma group therapy in the last phase of the SABR program for both men and women. I have provided national trainings and have been invited as a keynote to train on helping youth with sexual problems as well as providing experiential processes. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist – Candidate through the Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).

To get to know me a little better, I have been married for seven years and have twins, a boy and a girl. I love sports, and fall is my favorite time of year because of the change of season and the start of football and basketball season. I love to travel and I love to eat.
