Areas of Specialty:

Seeking counseling can be a difficult decision, and yet a decision that can better our lives in ways that we cannot understand until we have traveled that path. I believe we all need some help during different seasons of our lives. I have the utmost admiration and respect for those who decide to venture that path. I have been fortunate and blessed to be in a position to offer help and support to those who struggle with life’s challenges. I have a passion for this work that stems from watching clients create balance in their lives, heal, and flourish.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University, having majored in trauma abuse and deprivation. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with extensive life experience and training in helping individuals with childhood trauma, full disclosures, sexual addiction, or confusion as a result of trauma or attachment wounds. I am a supervisor at Family Strategies Counseling Center, and facilitate Phase 2 SABR groups with a professional staff that specializing in treating individuals struggling with sex addiction and intimate betrayal through a proven three-phase program.

Personally, I am married to a wonderful woman that I have shared many adventures with including world travel, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, and pretty much anything that involves the great outdoors. I love basketball and have played it for most of my life. I love my family and have three adult daughters and seven grandchildren who regularly remind me that I am not as young as I think I am.
