Life experiences can potentially bring out the absolute best in each of us. The ability to grow, restore, flourish, and achieve resiliency from these  experiences produces a meaningful life. As a counselor in training, my objective is to help others with compassion, sincerity, and attentiveness in addressing their unique challenges. I believe in the power of hope and
becoming and will provide a place to feel safe and validated without judgement. I have an earnest desire to help and work with you to find healing, resolve conflict, let go of anger, dispose of shame, and to find and know peace. I have adopted therapeutic approaches that are based on positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, family systems, and am working on concentration studies in trauma, abuse, and deprivation.

My wife and I have been married for 31 years and we are the parents of ten children. I have operated my own retail business for the past 26 years while volunteering during that time working with children, adolescents, and adults with life challenges.

I can offer sessions in both English and Spanish.

There will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how you use them. – Friedrich Nietzsche
