Even as a young child, I always knew I was going to be a “helper” of some kind. Throughout my life, I have consistently sought opportunities to help others heal and grow. Many years ago I read a quote, “Be the person you needed when you were young.” This prompted me to volunteer as a mentor with pre-teen to teenage girls. These mentorship roles have taken me all the way to South Africa and Guatemala as a mission trip leader and to multiple local Starbucks for long heartfelt, life changing conversations.  I’ve learned through mentoring that we all may need a “helper” at some point.

I consider it a great honor to play any part in the healing that takes place.  I believe that every person has immeasurable value beyond what human eyes can see.  As a counselor, I strive to help clients find a strong sense of personal value and cultivate a healthy emotional resilience. I am blessed with the opportunity to work alongside people that have taken the very courageous step to seek counseling.

When I’m not working, I’m usually playing with my golden doodles and spending time with my teenager. In my quiet moments you’ll find me doing anything creative involving paint, glitter, wood, screen printing, or all of them at once.
