Fresh Start Forum is a 10-week men's recovery group designed to help you navigate separation, divorce, grief, and rebuilding life after one of the most difficult transitions you'll ever face.

Fresh Start Forum combines:

This is more than a support group. It is a guided recovery process designed to help you move from surviving to healing.

Based on the proposal: psychoeducation, cognitive processing, emotional regulation, attachment work, mindfulness, and guided reflection.

How to Participate in Phase One

 

Option #1

One-Day Intensive Plan

When: Saturday, May 16, 2026

Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local
full-day concentrated experience

Four-Week Plan

When: Thursdays, August 6, 13, 20, 27 – 2026

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM local

Some insurances can help cover the cost of this group. Deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurances may apply.

A brief assessment with a Family Strategies therapist is required before registration; we can coordinate care with your outside provider during SABR as appropriate.

Additional SABR Offerings

 

Graduate Maintenance Class

Stay connected and sharpen your recovery skills. Monthly maintenance classes for SABR graduates meet the first Wednesday of each month, 6:00–7:30 PM. Separate men’s and women’s groups. $50 per session; preregistration required.

Phase 2 Men

Known as the application group, this phase builds insight into sustained action. Men work together with skilled clinicians to practice accountability, deepen relapse-prevention skills, repair relationship harm, and build healthier intimacy patterns.

Phase 2 Women

This phase, known as the healing group, offers betrayed partners a safe, guided space to process trauma, rebuild emotional safety, and reclaim agency.

Phase 3 Men

The men’s integration group helps participants consolidate gains and apply new skills to daily life while processing and healing attachment injuries across the lifespan.

Phases 2 and 3 of the SABR program are $280/month throughout program participation. Additional materials fees may also apply.
