Family Strategies now offers classes* on a variety of topics of interest to our community. Our desire is to help inform and support because we care about you and want to help support, educate, and strengthen our community.

Class Offerings

VALOR Teens Class (Online)

VALOR Young Adult Class (Online)

Are you a single adult man struggling with compulsive sexual behavior and/or pornography use? Join VALOR Young Adult! This is an ongoing class that teaches concepts of addiction and tools for sobriety to help young single adult men tackle problematic behaviors.

  • Meets weekly on the first four Wednesdays of every month from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. Participants who register mid-month will need to wait for the next month to begin participation.
  • Class fee is $80 per month. Classes are not covered by insurance.
  • Participants can pay for one, two, or three months at a time.
  • VALOR Young Adult Class participants will need to purchase two workbooks. A link to buy will be provided with your paid registration.

ADHD: So Much More than Meets the Eye (Online)

In this class, we’ll work to get a clearer look at ADHD, including diagnostic criteria, gender differences, focus, and overlooked symptoms.

  • Geared toward parents, teachers, youth leaders, pastors, and other adults who work with youth.
  • Class fee is $20 per participant. Classes are not covered by insurance.

Power Down Electronics Class (Online)

This class geared toward parents and other adults who work with youth will provide empirical data and tested tools to help you help the youth in your life overcome technology dependence. Technology can be a helpful resource, but it can also negatively affect relationships, education, jobs, and health. We want to help!

  • Geared toward parents, teachers, youth leaders, pastors, and other adults who work with youth.
  • Class fee is $20 per participant. Classes are not covered by insurance.

All classes are offered online via secure Zoom meetings. You will receive a Zoom link in a confirmation email after registering and paying for the class. Please call the office at (800) 614-8142 if you cannot find the confirmation email.
