I see you.

I see you hustling to get more done—to be the perfect parent/spouse/employee/leader/human.
I see that under your polished exterior, you are exhausted, stressed out, and ready for a change.
I see you feel unappreciated but left frustrated and guilty that you feel this way.
I see you breakdown in those heavy, lonely moments when you think no one notices.

I hear you.

I hear your inner thoughts (the ones you only admit to your therapist):
“I’m working myself ragged, and I’m still not enough.”
“If I could just (fill in the blank), then I will be happy.”
“Why does (fill in the blank:  parenting, life, work, marriage, staying in shape, having it all together, etc.)
seem so easy for (fill in the blank:  name of the person who appears to have it all)?”
“Someday, when (fill in the blank:  I make more money, the kids are grown, I’m less stressed out, etc.,)
then I’ll have time to work on my own happiness.”
But I also hear the still, small voice that says, “Despite it all, I’m still trying.”

I’ve been there.

I do just enough and give 90%—always staying safe by holding back just a little bit, staying small to avoid being criticized,
and being afraid to show up as the real (imperfect) ME.
I have become so risk-averse that I struggle to know what inspires me.
I find myself numbing and my soul is aching for that something that fills me up.”

I’ve got you covered.

Whether you’re trying to be a better parent, partner, friend, leader, or human (surely one of these applies to you!), you can rest assured that
The Daring Way™ programs will transform the way you live, love, parent, and lead.
This work moves into your bones where it becomes a part of you. In other words, this work will transform the way you do you.

Daring Greatly™: In Daring Greatly™, we get clear on what holds our highest value and how shame, perfection, and fear keep us from staying in those values. You will learn WHAT shame and fear messages keep YOU hidden and isolated. We will teach you how to practice empathy and self-compassion, resulting in you showing up in a way that feels courageous and bold. In Daring Greatly™, you choose an arena you would like to work on and with the help of a certified facilitator, you will begin living life inside of the arena. It will be messy. It will be challenging. It will be life-changing!

Rising Strong™: The Rising Strong™ is about what happens after you fall down and how you get back up. We get inside your story and learn through a creative, research proven 3-step process, how to rewrite your story using: The Reckoning. The Rumble. The Revolution.™ In this group, we will write SFDs and rumble with hard topics such as Living BIG, grief, forgiveness, criticism, shame, and trust.

The Gifts of Imperfections™: Learn how to incorporate the 10 Guideposts for Whole-hearted Living™ into your life. This creative group will challenge you to let go of perfectionism as we use experiential ways to move the work into your bones, so it becomes a part of you.

The Daring Way™: This weekly group will be a safe place for you to challenge the shame and perfection that holds you hostage. In this group, we circle through Dr. Brené Brown’s three curricula’s: The Gifts of Imperfections™, Daring Greatly™, and Rising Strong™. We take our time to learn and practice what healthy support looks like, challenge our faulty beliefs that are no longer serving us, and help us create new patterns in our lives as we practice the shame resiliency tools, self-compassion, and empathy we need to stay in our highest values.

Here’s how Brené describes the progression of her work:

  • The Gifts of Imperfection – Be you.
  • Daring Greatly – Be all in.
  • Rising Strong – Fall. Get up. Try again.

The Daring Way™ groups at Family Strategies are facilitated by Angie Hatch, LPC, CSAT, CDWF Certified Daring Way™Facilitator. Angie can be reached at 480-668-8301 ext. 1007 or ahatch@familystrategies.org.
