Next Event: September 27-29, 2024

AIM was developed by a group of counselors who are outdoor enthusiasts and recognize a need for boys and men to receive validation, affirmation, and guidance in developing mentor relationships. Weekend activities are geared toward overcoming insecurity and developing confidence in pursuing future goals. The weekend may include camping, backpacking, canoeing, sports, hiking, swimming, or repelling. Each AIM weekend is unique, will focus on a variety of men’s issues, and is geared toward helping participants engage in healthy camaraderie. While the weekend is not considered “therapy,” many participants find deep healing.

Each participant brings a mentor (or buddy) of their own choosing to engage in the activities with. If the participant is a youth he must bring an adult aged 21 years or older. Both the participant and his mentor/buddy must register separately.

AIM is a three-day healing retreat filled with activities designed to help foster healthy bonding between fathers, sons, and mentors.

The activities are structured to provide healing opportunities for those struggling with life challenges that could include abuse, addiction, depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges.

Participants engage in bonding exercises with mentors to meet personal goals and help instill a lifelong commitment to wellness.

We are not affiliated with any religious organization, but the staff are faith-based and follow conservative standards throughout the weekend. Religious proselyting is not permitted on the weekend.
